New to Urban
Attending an Urban service starts with you being welcomed with a smile into our free parking areas surrounding the building. You will be greeted at the front door by our service team, and if you have kids, we can help you sign them into our free kids’ program. The service includes a time of praise and worship, followed by a relevant and Holy Spirit inspired message.
After the service you can grab a free coffee and tea in the foyer, and if you're new we'd love to meet you in our Urban Lounge, also located in the foyer.
If you’re thinking of making Urban home or want to find out more, please fill in a Connect Card. We also have Prayer & Testimony cards we’d love you to use. You can pop both in our Urban Post located next to the doors in the auditorium.
Urban has a friendly car parking team that will help you with where to park. Our main car park is located next door at the rear of 17 McCabe St. Priority Parking is directly out the front of the building and reserved for seniors, ACROD permit holders and parents with prams. All our parking is free including the overflow parking just up the road on McCabe St (with lovely river views).
As you enter the building you'll be able to see the Urban Kids sign. Just behind this and next to the parent’s room you will find the sign in desk for our free kids programme for ages 1/2 - 11/12 (up to year 6). Once you've registered and signed in your children they will be shown to their respective rooms, based on their age group. You are then free to sit in the service while your children have a fun and encounter God and His word in our programme. You may pick them up immediately after the main service has finished. Sign in is open 15 minutes prior to the service and 15 minutes after for collecting your children.
We have a strict policy of signing in and signing out children to our Urban Kids program to best care for their safety. All children must be registered before commencing and are given a sticker with their name and a unique ID code. Parents receive a sticker with the same unique code and must present this to collect their child at the end of the service. All personal information is securely stored and protected.
